I was kicked in the head and knocked unconscious by a deer as he tried to jump over my Spyder motorcycle 9/7/2025. I received outstanding care by th EMTs and ambulance crew as they transported me to Tomah Health ER. Again, I received outstanding professional care by the doctors, RNs, CNA, those responsible for imaging and labs! Although I hope I never need emergency room assistance again, if I do I would not hesitate to select Tomah Health for my care. God bless all involved.

As soon as the provider walked in she saw exactly why I was there and said she had a feeling of what was going on, but just wanted to check to verify what was going on and she got confirmation and gave the right medication and I'm already seeing improvement from why I went into urgent care.

I couldn't get in with a regular provider because for the 6th time in 7 years I have had to switch providers because they leave. Urgent care is only convenient after 5:00pm, after the clinic closes. Before we moved here 7 years ago, our Acute Care was open from morning to night. This inability to be seen when I need care now is very, very inconvenient and for such a short time before it turns into the much more expensive ER visit. Same place, same people. The nurses and staff were exceptional and they are great at their jobs.

Amanda was my MA, very personable and informative. Dr. Ruden was my provider. I was comfortable with his care and he explained the whole process.

I usually have terrible experiences when going to emergency room or even just regular check up's but this time I felt compassion felt I was actually heard like my concerns were not ignored i left there feeling different in a good way usually I leave feeling worse then when I got there. The staff was comforting and not judgemental. The little things matter. Simple acknowledgement not belittlement goes a long way. I felt listened to for the first time which makes me want to come back and care for my health in the past I wait til the absolute last minute to go in but now I see a huge change in the way the staff handled things and for that I give them the 5 stars they deserve PLEASE keep up the good work you are greatly appreciated.

I had a very positive experience at the Tomah Health Emergency Room. I was seen quickly, and the facility was clean and organized. Dr. Young was kind, informative, and took the time to explain what was going on and what the possible causes might be. He ordered tests to rule out more serious concerns and made sure I understood everything as we went through the process. I felt like I was truly listened to by everyone involved in my care — the nurses, lab staff, and the doctor. The nursing staff was attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I left with clear instructions on what to watch for and how to care for myself at home, and I was already feeling better by the time I left. The professionalism and compassion from the entire team made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I’m very grateful for the care I received.

From the initial registration, to the first nurse who saw me and got the rundown of my situation, to the PA-C who examined me and prescribed treatment, to the nurse who finalized everything for me, everyone was so friendly and kind. They were very pleasant and easy to talk to. I was very pleased with the care I received at Tomah Health Urgent Care.

This has to be by far the best hospital I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I are on vacation from Nebraska, and we had an emergency regarding him. They were so kind and so gentle, their communication was great! He is now feeling better!! Wisconsin never fails me!

This is our go to urgent care/er. Theyre SO fast which is nice since we have 2 little kids. They've helped us with a range of issues and they are always so nice, fast, and helpful.
